Victim Rescue Training
On April 4th, 2022 the members of the department participated in a victim search and rescue training session. This session featured two components. In the first session crews crawled through a blacked out maze in our smoke house while completely blind. Their task was to locate a victim and pull that victim to safety outside.
In the second session, members practiced packaging a victim up for rescue by our aerial platform and moving them to safety. Both of these represent potential real world scenarios which our members could face at a fire.
