Thank you notes from our residents

I want to express a heart felt thanks to the members of the Guilderland Fire Department who were there for me when my basement started filling with water. It was such a relief when the first fire truck showed up. Your members were able to get the water out of my basement and even worked quickly to help save our belongings before the water destroyed them.

Our elementary school families really enjoyed interacting with members of the Fort Hunter and Guilderland Fire Departments at Lynnwood's annual Ghouls & Goblins Fall Festival. Thank you for providing additional event lighting that evening. Our families loved learning about fire safety and the PASS technique using the fire extinguisher simulator.

Thank you Guilderland Fire Department for hosting our Cub Scout Tiger Den at your firehouse to talk about fire prevention and to give us a tour of your facility. Our favorite part was sitting in the different fire engines and trucks! We had a wonderful time learning about how fire departments serve our community and enjoyed meeting some of your volunteer members.
