Structure Fire 4773 Western Ave
On Friday September 4th, several town departments were dispatched to a report of a smoke condition and fire on the front porch of a residence at 4773 Western avenue. First arriving units confirmed a working structure fire and requested Truck 29 and Squad 23 from the Guilderland Fire Department to respond.
Upon arrival Truck 29’s crew stretched a 2 ½ hand line assisted members from other departments in batting the flames. Squad 23’s crew arrived and were assigned to join Truck 29’s crew and other crews operating on the fire scene. Truck 29’s crew was also utilized to open the roof and help extinguish the fire from above.
