Guilderland Fire Department – 1931–2026
For 95 years, the Guilderland Fire Department has stood ready to serve the residents of the Town of Guilderland.
Since our founding in 1931, generations of volunteer firefighters have answered the call — in the middle of the night, during blizzards, through hurricanes, on highways, in homes, and everywhere in between. What began as a small group of community members committed to protecting their neighbors has grown into a modern, highly trained emergency response organization.
Today, we honor that legacy.
