Vehicle Fire Training
On the evening of July 26th, 2021 the members of the Guilderland Fire Department took part in a vehicle fire training exercise. Vehicle fires are a common call type for firefighters and they pose many dangers to both firefighters as well as the general public.
In this session our members practiced techniques for extinguishing car fires through the use of water as well as our Compressed Air & Foam (CAF) system.
