Santa’s Ride 2020
Happy Holidays & Thank You
The members of the Guilderland Fire Department would like to thank everyone for making this year’s Santa’s Ride a huge success. It has been our privilege over the years to escort Santa around the fire district so that he can see all of the children and wish everyone a happy holiday season.
This year as you know we faced a difficult challenge with COVID-19 which required us to completely re-think how we could still support Santa while still ensuring the safety of both the community and our members. As part of that process we needed to enforce social distancing which required changing the way Santa interacted with the children, took photos and handed out gifts.
Our members will be in touch with Santa after Christmas as we are already working on plans for next years visit. In the mean time, please enjoy some of the photos below and we hope everyone has a happy and safe holiday season.
