On Monday, March 29th the members of the Guilderland Fire Department were joined by members of the Westmere Fire Department for a joint vehicle extrication drill. Participants attended an hour long classroom lecture which was followed by a hands on review of the equipment both departments carry for use in a vehicle extrication.
This type of training is key as we onboard new members and as part of our continuing education for our veteran members. We would like to thank our friends at the Westmere Fire Department for joining us and assist in this cross department training class.
