During these unprecedented times we have all had to make major adjustments to the way we live our lives. Many are working from home, schools have closed moving to new long distance eLearning platforms.
Since the start of the pandemic, the department knew we needed to find a safe way where we can continue to provide training to our members while keeping everyone socially distanced and safe. As a result, after making some adjustments we transitioned our weekly training classes to an online model. Our members have been getting together once a week in a virtual classroom and attending a variety of training courses which are put on by the officers in the department.
This new training model is expected to continue until officials inform us that we can begin to transition back to in person training classes once again.
