This past Monday, April 26th our members participated in a firefighter safety drill which consisted of practicing an emergency escape and using a ladder. These are crucial skills which fortunately are not used to often, but it’s vital that each member is trained and comfortable with them.
On Monday’s class our training officers worked with our members to review and demonstrate the technique. Afterward members had an opportunity to practice their skills.
